ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS

Significant Incident

A significant incident is any situation that the our networks became involved in and the Police or Fire Departments become involved in some way as well. In every monthly report, the number of significant incidents and a description of each follows below the table.

Assists/Information

This category can take many forms. Anytime our networks give some helpful information, or assists a person in some way, it is counted in this category. Some common examples would be a home security consultation, installation, or maintenance.

Community Alert/Real Time Engagement

This category consists of any network communications which go to any and all pertinent neighborhoods. This includes real time alerts of an active  incident, important updates, and the back and forth dialogue communication with neighbors.

Evidence Capture/Share/Monitoring

This category consists of any time a surveillance video becomes available and necessary for sharing, either with the network, police investigators, fire investigators, or media. This is done both in real time and retroactively when crime and safety issues occur.

Environmental/Code Issues

This category consists of any necessary documentation and sharing , both with the networks, and a formal outreach to city agencies about basic safety and code issues. Abandoned vehicles, trees down, breeches vacant homes, streetlight outages, traffic light outages,  fall into this category.
